Security is often cited as a common inhibitor to take up for Cloud Computing, but in reality providers whose companies live or die in The Cloud typically offer far more robust security than individual organisations could ever provide for themselves.
But any organisation embarking upon a Cloud Computing investment needs to consider security and the technology and standards to support it, such as firewalls, encryption and good practice.
