Building facilities services provider, Norland, has turned to CloudApps Carbon for its standard carbon emissions management solution across its estate portfolio.
Norland specialises in facilities maintenance and support services for property owners such as Sky broadcasting and the British Museum. It will be using CloudApps Carbon to deliver energy savings and proactive monitoring of carbon emissions for its customers. The partnership has already delivered an implementation for the UK operations of one of the world’s largest technology companies.
The company’s long term objective with CloudApps Carbon is to allow its customers to focus on their core strengths rather than the management of energy. This has now become a specialist issue because of its contribution to facilities costs and the fact it is also subject to complex regulation. CloudApps allows Norland to guide its customers on cost reductions and increased transparency around regulatory compliance.
CloudApps Carbon is built on the Force.com platform, from salesforce.com and is offered on a subscription basis. The company is also running a 30-day free trial for potential enterprise customers.
