Adrian has entered his 25th year inside the IT industry; his career thus far has been wide and varied......

Adrian's early career (first 15 years) very much focussed on detailed technical support of Local and Central Government majoring in Microsoft technology stacks, holding technical certifications with Microsoft, Novell, HP and Cisco. Adrian also naturally evolved and majored on automation, toolsets and user ‘experience’ being central to success, Adrian providing significant inroads to reducing service outages and incident volumes in several organisations.

Adrian is widely renowned in the IT industry for his execution and delivery of large scale transformation programmes, cutting through red tape and bureaucracy. Spanning sectors as varied as Local & Central government, Business Process Outsourcing, IT Outsourcing & Service Integration.

For the last 10 years Adrian has lead large scale Service Delivery outfits supporting 100's of client companies, line managing 100’s of staff throughout the EMEA region. Adrian’s mixture of a strong technical knowledge linked to his leadership expertise affords Adrian a powerful hybrid of skills to profoundly drive major transformations. Since joining Royal Mail Group in 2008 as the head of infrastructure management, Adrian has driven and continues to drive several large scale transformation programmes (Hyper-V, enterprise roaming Wi-Fi, WAN transformation, BPOS, Windows 7 / Office 2010, Active Directory overhaul, etc).

Royal Mail has 30,000 PCs, 2,000 servers spread across 2316 physical offices supporting up to 180,000 ‘casual IT users’. One of the UK’s largest private Wi-Fi networks and mid way through a $1bn IT transformation (Desktop, Server, Network, e-business and SAP). Adrian is married with 5 children, and is a football fanatic – supporting England around the globe wherever they play !
