Chris Baldock

Christopher Baldock has spent the majority of his career in communications companies in sales engineering and general management roles both domestically and internationally.
A qualified telecommunications engineer working in the early part of his career for British Telecom, Chris worked on the early precursors of today’s Internet, Arpanet and Telenet networks installing the first X25 European nodes. Joining and moving quickly through the ranks of Dowty Case as an engineer then salesman and sales manager. Chris became the director of worldwide product sales and marketing prior to moving to Motorola. As sales and marketing director he ran the organisation’s UNIX and communications divisions. Headhunted to run the sales and marketing teams at Atlantic, Chris has lead from the front several of the largest and most successful domestic and international sales teams in the sector.
Chris led a management buy-in of Modular Technology from MYSYS transforming it into one of the fastest growing companies in the UK, two years in succession (Virgin/Sunday Times index), and an Entrepreneur of the Year finalist (The Independent). Prior to joining the board of intY Chris spent two years as managing director of leading document and materials handling company Kardex Chris has a wide breadth of experience both in the UK and internationally. He has worked extensively in North America, most European markets as well as Australia and South East Asia.
