CEO of NetSuite Inc.

Zach Nelson is an accomplished software industry executive and visionary with more than 20 years of leadership experience. He has held a variety of executive positions spanning marketing, sales, product development and business strategy with leading companies such as Oracle, Sun Microsystems, and McAfee/Network Associates. Under Nelson's leadership, NetSuite has grown exponentially year over year to become one of the industry's leading SaaS companies. As the primary driver of NetSuite's vision and market direction, Nelson led NetSuite's successful IPO in December 2007. Nelson holds a patent in the field of application integration, and has several others pending approval. He holds B.S. and M.A. degrees from Stanford University.



Martin Bellamy
Director, Office of the Government Chief Information Officer Cabinet Office

Martin Bellamy joined the Cabinet Office in July 2009 to take forwards the cross government strategy for Data Centres, Cloud Computing and sharing of business solutions/applications (the “Apps Store”). Previously Martin worked at the Department of Health which he joined in September 2008 as the Director of Programme and System Delivery. This included heading up the 1,500 strong NHS Connecting for Health (NHS CFH) organisation, providing organisational leadership and a focus on enhancing partnerships with, and within the NHS. That appointment followed the strategic refocusing of IT leadership as part of the Health Informatics Review into how information can better be used, across the Department and the NHS. Read more.



Adam Afriyie MP
Shadow Minister for Science and Innovation

Adam read agricultural economics at university, and went on to become a successful entrepreneur. He was founding director of Connect Support Services, an IT services company, which was recognised in the Virgin Sunday Times Fasttrack 100. In 2005 he sold his controlling interest in DeHavilland Information Services to a FTSE 100 company. Elected to Parliament as MP for Windsor in 2005, Adam chaired the Conservatives’ de-regulation task force and served on the Science and Technology Select Committee. Adam became Shadow Minister for Science and Innovation in 2007, and in 2008 he was appointed by David Cameron to champion innovation in government.



David Norris
Chief operating Officer, Livebookings

David joined Livebookings as Chief Operating Officer in November 2007 and has previously worked on websites such as ifyouski.com, lastminute.com and Expedia.com. At Expedia he was Website and Ecommerce Operations Director and was responsible for the product strategy, build and maintenance of Expedia sites across the UK, Spain, Netherlands and Nordics.

Mark Taylor, Senior Director, Developer and Platform Evangelism, Microsoft

Mark Taylor joined Microsoft in 1993 working in enterprise services sales. Until 2000 Mark held various executive roles including leading Microsoft Consulting Services and Product Support Services. He also led the preparation for the Year 2000 "Millennium Bug" issue. In November 2000 he moved over to start up the UK business of Avanade, the System Integrator joint-venture between Microsoft and Accenture. Within 3 years the UK business of Avanade became the most profitable and active world-wide. Avanade now employs 6000 consultants world-wide and 4500 software professionals in India. Returning to Microsoft in July 2007, Mark leads the Developer and Platform Group in the UK, which is responsible for the developer community, emerging technologies and devices, relationships with key high-profile brands, Independent Software Vendors, Further Education, Start-ups, VCs and Enthusiasts. A former developer and self-confessed gadget junkie, Mark is passionate about the role of technology and software in enabling the future.



Robert Whiteside

He is responsible for defining the new services portfolio and requirements, and works closely with customers throughout Europe in bringing the service to market. During his career, Hughes has been involved in the launch of over 15 new products in the managed services, enterprise integration and business software development spaces. He set up his own on-line business which was successfully sold to BT. Hughes later became the Head of Messaging and Transaction Services at BT. He has actively played a role in growing several business software start-ups in the fields of payments, supply chain and situation management.

Hughes holds a BSc. in Electronics from the University of Salford and an Open Business School MBA.



Ron Brown, Director of Cloud Computing Services, EMEA, CSC
Since joining CSC in 1998 Ron Brown has accumulated a wide range of experience covering all aspects of business systems design and delivery.

Ron is currently performing EMEA CTO duties, and is an executive member of CSC’s research division, the Leading Edge Forum. Ron is also a leader of the CSC Global Centre of Excellence for Business Process Management , and winner of both the CSC Leading Edge Forum Technical Excellence Award for Innovation and CSC President’s Award for Innovation. Ron has worked for more than 20 years in the IT industry working for both public and private sector organisations including Vodafone.
