Alan Lee-Bourke
Head of ICT, The Wise Group
Alan was appointed CIO for the Wise Group in October 2008. He has had many ICT roles including user, researcher, data analyst, programmer, analyst, project manager, programme manager, consultant, principal consultant deputy manager and manager.

He has worked in the public, private and third-sectors and founded and ran his own ICT Software company. Alan has worked extensively overseas particularly in the San Francisco bay area/Silicon Valley, and in South East Asia. He has worked in ICT for two of the world’s top five ICT providers.

Along the way he has served as chair for many international software conferences and chaired a key General Electric (Power Systems) software user group for eight years. He also picked up a post-graduate degree in Advanced Information Systems and was elected to serve on the Scottish chapter of a national data standards committee (The Association for Geographic Information Systems). He has published numerous ICT/Data related papers.
